- India vs Pakistan
- 1st ODI at Karachi
It was after 7 years India was playing a match on Pakistan Soil and the World Cricket witnessed one of the greatest match of all time.

Batting first India scored 349/7 in 50 overs. Virender Sehwag gave India great start scoring 79 (57 Balla 14 fours 1 Sixer) & when he dismissed India score was 142-2 in 14.2 Overs. Rahul Dravid played a great anchoring knock of 99 (104 Balls 8 Fours).
Later, in 2nd inning chasing 350, Pakistan were 34/2 in 7.4 overs & at that time it seemed India will win this game easily. But Inzamam UL Haq played one of the greatest ODI knock of all time, he scored 122 (102 Balls 12 Fours 2 Sixer). While Inzamam was batting it seemed like Pakistan will chase 350 easily. But a magnificent last over spell from Ashis Nehra turned things in India’s favor.
Overall 693 runs were scored which was a World Record during that era.
- Ind 349/7 (50)
