- India vs West Indies at Mumbai
- 2nd Test Day 3
During Childhood while we used to hold a Bat, our Family Members or Friends used to refer us as “Sachin Tendulkar”. And on that was the Day when that Man retired from International Cricket after a Glittering International career that spanned 24 years. Even the Word “Magnificent” won’t be enough to Describe Sachin Tendulkar in one Word, because his contribution in International Cricket has been enormous. Highest Run Scorer in Test & ODI, Highest Century getter in Test & ODI as well with a Tally of 100 International Centuries. Rather that he was effective as a Bowler too.
Even in the Last Test Match he Scored a Magnificent 74 (118 Balls 12 Fours) in the Likes of Sammy, Garbiel, Tino Best, Shillingford. He was unfortunate to score the Century. But India thrashed West Indies by an innings and 126 runs to wrap up the series 2-0. Right after the Match got over, Sachin Tendulkar received Standing ovation from the Crowd and his Team Man. Later, during the Prize Distribution Ceremony his emotional Speech made the entire Cricket Fraternity Cry.
