- India vs Australia at Nagpur
- 4th Test Day 5
Captaincy, Controversy, Setback and Comeback – we have witness everything during his long Career but that was the Day when the Legend’s Magnificent Career got ended in the History of International Cricket. India won the Series by 2-0 against the Aussies who were the World Champions in ODI and No 1 side in Test Ranking then. Sourav Ganguly’s contribution in that Series was enormous scoring 323 with an Average 53.83 which Included a Century and a Half Century, where Media raised the question if that was the right time for his retirement.

Even in that Test he scored a Brilliant 85 in the 1st innings but 0 in the second for batting late & India needed to accelerate the score as well. In the 4th innings while Aussies lost their 9th wicket, Skipper MS Dhoni asked Sourav Ganguly to captain the side, which is a huge respect for any Cricketers.
- Australia 355 & 209
- India 441 & 295
- India won by 172 runs
- Player of the Match: Jason Krejza
- Player of the Series: Ishant Sharma
